An oil filter is an essential part of your engine. The oil filter provides filtration for your engine’s oil and removes particles and contaminates. Oil filters should be changed every 5,000 miles or 3,000 miles on modified vehicles.

The fuel filter is responsible for removing contaminates in your fuel system. With the introduction of ethanol fuel blends, fuel filters often become clogged prematurely. A clogged fuel filter can lead to poor engine performance and a check engine light. Fuel filters should be changed every 60,000 miles or 40,000 miles on modified vehicles.

Smelly car? A dirty a/c cabin filter could be the culprit. Often neglected, the a/c cabin filter provides filtration for the fresh air in your a/c system.
